FetishCon 2013

So, about a month ago I went to Tampa, Florida's Fetishcon. It was my first time at the fetish convention. I went to promote my new movie, "Moonie and the Spider Queen, Episode 1." The convention was nice enough to give us a table. It was a very fun and interesting show.

I got to Tampa on Wednesday evening and settled in to the Sheraton. I had dinner down the street at Jackson's. I sat outside and ate sushi rolls that were different than the traditional kind, but were still delicious.

On Thursday, I went to set up the booth. My partner and I had been very organized, so it only took us about an hour to get everything ready for the three day show. For the rest of the day, I toured Tampa, eating at Columbia (the food was bland and disgusting) and napped and ate dinner at the hotel before the Meet and Greet. I attended the Meet and Greet with a date and my partner. I met some very nice people and I saw right away that everyone was die hard fans of their fetishes.

That Friday started the convention. It started off slow, but picked up in the afternoon. We made a bunch of sales between our books and movie. I visited the Clips4Sale booth where I rode the sybian machine and did my best to stay away from all the latex (allergy). Later that night, I ate at Samarai Blue where the service and food was perfect and then went to the after party at Factoria in Ybor City. I got to see some awesome burlesque acts.

The next day was another long day. This time we were busy right off the bat with sales and signings and photos. I got tied up, wore a chain-mail bikini, and participated in gyno fetish. (A first for everything). Later that night I went back to Ybor and ate (I don't remember where. Apparently it wasn't that great if I can't remember the name of the place.) and attended the second after party at The Castle. It was my first time there, but I think it might be my favorite place to party, at least for right now.

Sunday was the hardest day. It was slow because everyone was hungover and tired, including me. Can we say "COFFEE?!!!!" After the show ended at three, we cleaned up our booth, went and got a massage and then, after eating dinner, went to The Fetish Ball where I stayed long enough to see a show that consisted of sideshow acts, including my friends from Grotesque Burlesque. I wish I could have stayed til the end of the ball, but I was so tired I had to get home.

After a long, busy, tiring weekend, I can say I had fun. I can't wait to go back next August. Countdown begins!
